Fitness Assessment Data from Dave in November 2008

We had a crazy couple of weeks right at the 6 week point. We probably did the assessment at about 71/2 weeks. I was pleasantly surprised in 2 out of 3 areas and dissappointed in the other. That one being the cardio, but I know I have a long way to go in that regard. Lettie and I both have ankle problems, so our running is a little rough and slow!

Here are mine and Lettie's results:

Dave:
(49 years old)
sit-ups 50 ==> 60 = 20% increase
push-ups 35 ==> 45 = 29% increase
squat thrust 25 ==> 28 = 12% increase

1 1/2 mile run/walk only shaved 25 seconds a 2% decrease

touch toes flexibility increased by 7 inches (I was also dieting and lost 10 pounds that helped)

behind back touch increased by 2 3/4 inches (same as above)

Lettie:
(25 years old)
sit-ups 41 ==> 57 = 39% increase
push-ups 27 ==> 35 = 30% increase
squat thrust 18 ==> 24 = 34% increase

1 1/2 mile run/walk shaved only 24 seconds a 2.5% decrease

touch toes flexibility stayed about the same

behind back touch increased by 1 inch

I overall am pleased with the machine. It seems to do all that it was supposed to do. Maybe a little weak on the cardio department, but then again so am I! The best thing is that it is in my basement and I know that it only takes four minutes, so I don't have an excuse. I have been very diligent and only missed the days I wasn't in town, basically (6 days per week). We've done nothing else but the 4 minute workout to see what the results would be.

Thanks for the machine I'll definitely keep using it but I also need to do more cardio to help that area.
